Who's interested in subscribing Sin Chew Daily (the newspaper)?

Good day to all, chinese umpians!

First of all, I need to clear things up that, this is just a survey. If the response is good, this activitiy will proceed.

We have contacted outer source that is willingful to deliver Sin Chew Daily to our university. However, there is one condition, which is an amount of students need to subscribe the newspaper. If we achieved the amount of students, our source will delivery the newspaper to UMP, which will start on February. We will try to sell the newspaper with a price lower than the market price.

So, we need to know the amount of students who like to subscribe Sin Chew Daily first.

Thus, for those who are interested, please contact:

Liew Wei Bing 012-9868028

or

Cindy Lee 017-8048131

PLEASE do give us your FULL NAME, MATRIC NUMBER and your CONTACT NUMBER too!

Thank you.

Have a pleasant day!

CNY'10 LOGO !!!

CNY'10 LOGO

This is logo of Chinese New Year Week Event UMP 2010. The word of UMP means University Malaysia Pahang while the word of CNY '10 means Chinese New Year Week Event UMP 2010.

This logo got a picture of tiger and the chinese word "虎" means tiger that is because according to our Chinese Zodiac signs, 2010 year is the tiger year. The Chinese zodiac signs are determined by the lunar year in which you were born. The Chinese believe the animal ruling one's birth year has a profound influence on personality, and destiny. The saying is: "This animal hides in your heart."

For those who born in 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950 are fearless, noble and bursting with vigour. They are affectionate, generous and have a great empathy for fellow human beings. Their rebellious nature attracts them to adventure and deeds that call for action instead of deliberation. Optimistic, tigers have a great lot of spunk and would rather die trying than give up on their ideals. But beware; tigers are loners who dont care much for company in their quests. Though spunky, they are essentially big babies who need their egos stroked often, and boy do they have huge ones! They are high-strung and easily tense up over trivial matters, allowing jealousy and possessiveness to get into the way of better judgement. Reckless, irreverent and rebellious, tigers think rules are created only to be broken.

The party may be well over, but let the tagging frenzy begin!!! Add more friends, from seniors to juniors, into your network NOW, and tag, TAG , T-A-G!!!

Experience campus life the fun way.

Kudos To All

It has been nearly a week since the dinner party last Friday. Now,let us take a glimpse back to the night of the year.

Still remember the ‘Train’ Reaction game? Someone on stage was ‘victimised’ while you people were down there laughing from inside out. You are just so sick. LOLX!!
Then how about the Let’s Par-tay??? Most were seen grooving with the music, dancing to the beat. 1-2-3-and 4...And remember ‘Fire Burning On The Dance Floor’??You guys were singing (or screaming) your lungs out during the live performance. Ah-uh, don’t you deny that my friends. Oh ya,and the fizzy cocktail served after all the sweat and dance?? *sweet*Cheers everyone!

Oh,what a night we had!!!

The Night Of Glory of course came by with awards for the super seniors. One senior for each faculty was awarded a plaque for their dedication and sacrifices towards building the Chinese community in UMP. Exceptions were made when 2 super seniors from the same faculty had equal votes from the juniors. The votes were considered fair as 95% of the castings came back after distributing to 2nd & 3rd year juniors.

To that,a big thank you to all participants and everyone involved in making the event happen. The team would like to express their appreciation by acknowledging those who had put in much time and effort for the night event.
